Tim S. Trulove, DMD, MS
Dr. Trulove was born in Tupelo, Mississippi and grew up in Red Bay, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama in 1980, where he completed his undergraduate studies in 1983. He then entered dental school at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he graduated “with honors” and received the Dean’s medal in 1987. He then began his orthodontic residency at the University of Iowa, where he received his certificate in orthodontics and his master’s degree in 1989.
In July 1989, Dr. Trulove moved to Montgomery to join the practice of Dr. Grady Price. In 1996, Dr. Trulove became board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. In 1998, Dr. Trulove began as an adjunct professor in the orthodontic department at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham.
Dr. Trulove has served as president of the Second District Dental Society, the Alabama Association of Orthodontists, and the Montgomery Lowndes County chapter of the University of Alabama Alumni Association. In addition, Dr. Trulove has also served as district vice president for the University of Alabama National Alumni Association and currently serves as a senior director for the Southern Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Trulove is married to the former Bonnie Brock, and they have three children, Brock, Gracie, and Jack. Dr. Trulove and his family are active members of First Baptist Church of Montgomery.
When not practicing or teaching orthodontics, Dr. Trulove enjoys spending time with his family, coaching little league sports, and playing golf.
Chris M. Petrunic, DMD, MS
Dr. Chris Petrunic is from Prattville, Alabama. He earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University in 1997. Dr. Petrunic received his dental degree in 2001 and, in 2004, his graduate degree in orthodontics from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
In 2004, Dr. Petrunic joined the practice. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Alabama Dental Association, Second District Dental Society and staff doctor with Children’s Rehabilitation Services.
Dr. Petrunic is single and when not practicing, he enjoys working on his farm, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
Grady L. Price, Jr., DMD
Dr. Price was born in Ft. Payne, Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry with Honors. In 1966 with a graduate degree in orthodontics from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, he began practicing in Montgomery. To fill additional needs in surrounding areas, satellite offices were opened in Troy in 1968 and Prattville in 1993.
In 1972, Dr. Price became Board Certified by the America Board of Orthodontics. He is a member of all major orthodontic and dental associations, including a Fellowship in the International College of Dentists. In the area of service, he is past president of the Second District Dental Society, the Alabama Orthodontic Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and American Association of Orthodontists Foundation, and for the past 20 years, he has served on the Children’s Rehabilitation Services Cleft Palate team to help those most deserving patients.
Dr. Price has been fortunate to be recognized by his peers and honored by receiving the following awards:
- Distinguished Service Award 2000 - Alabama Orthodontic Association
- Distinguished Service Award 1987 – Southern Association of Orthodontists
- “Brophy Award” Distinguished Service Award1996 - the highest honor bestowed on an orthodontist by the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Price is married to the former Judy Beall Pippen; together, they have three living adult children who all have homes in Montgomery. Dr. Price and Judy live on a farm in Ramer, Alabama, where they enjoy horseback riding, camping out, hiking, and all the things associated with country living. One of their greatest joys is their involvement in Ramer Methodist Church, where they sing in the choir.
